11/11/2022 0 Comments Activision guitar hero 3 dlc![]() ![]() Though, I wouldn't call the GH3 DLC lazy by anymeans. The best way to contact me is through Twitter Hey, I FINALLY have Rock Band 3! And with Cymbals for Pro Mode! Add XBL if you want to play. Besides, they're going to want to focus the positive aspect to their current or future games. GHWT has had regular DLC flow unlike they others, so it doesn't look like they'd be going back to GH3 anytime soon. GH2 only had a few packs that weren't GH1 songs, this is telling me the demand for it wasn't high.Īlthough, GH3 is their biggest game which should give reason to start going to cross-game DLC at least (like Metallica pack) but the draw back is the resources their losing for development elsewhere (GHWT DLC, GH:M, GHOTs, GH5 and so on). I can't say about GH3 but the main reason for the lack of DLC for GH2 is that Harmonix made that game and they are now basically now making the competitor to GH.Īnd the gaps between DLC in GH3 were pretty large. Now, my question to Neversoft and Activision is: How does it come that the DLC of GH2 and GH3 has taken this long break with unplanned end, and do you think it would be possible to put an end to this break and release more DLC songs for these games in the future? The latest DLC release for GH2 was on Novem(The State of Massachusetts, You Should Be Ashamed of Myself, Memories of the Grove), and on Septem(Full Death Magnetic album) for GH3. ![]() The thing is, in the present, all GH DLC scheduled for release is solely for Guitar Hero World Tour, and none for the earlier games in the series that have featured DLC. why is this? It seems that every time a new installment in the Guitar Hero series is released, everything related to the previously active installment is always forgotten and abandoned to put focus on the next installment - And this also includes downloadable song content.Īpparently, Neversoft and Activision doesn't seem to mind that there is still a great group of music/rhythm video game players out there who own a copy of Guitar Hero 2 (Xbox 360 version) or 3 (Xbox 360/PS3 version).
